Product Safety Officer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities

Regular coordination of current product safety act requirements with the legal department and other concerned areas

Support or performing of risk assessments in accordance with legal requirements in the event of possible product liability cases together with the local responsible departments

Methodical support of problem solving in the context of risk assessments together with the responsible departments
-
Supervision of the corresponding Quality Improvement Circle

Initiation of possible lessons learned from the risk assessments as an input for product projects or the module work
-
Market monitoring of Liebherr refrigerators and freezers which may pose a risk to health and safety in normal use

Regular reporting
Competencies
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable qualification through appropriate professional experience
-
In depth knowledge and experience of product safety standards and rules
-
Technical knowledge of parts and components for refrigerators and freezers
-
Experience in the analysis of quality data as well as problem-solving method competence desirable
-
Very good communication skills in German and English

Ability to systematically analyze and visualize technical and organizational problems and to develop independent solutions
-
Open to travel abroad
